We are a community that leaves no child behind.
The Heart at Play Foundation works diligently to empower the special needs community by providing free Dance Movement Therapy (DMT) to the least, the last and the lost of family members with Autism and other Developmental Disabilities.
Holistic Healing: The Heart at Play aims to improve the lives of individuals who are clinically diagnosed with developmental disabilities (ADHD, Down Syndrome, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, and other similar illnesses), regardless of their age and the severity of their condition. Special needs persons can achieve holistic healing through our program, which can help them be more manageable, productive, and interactive.
Independent Living: Special needs children and adults face mental, physical, and social developmental delays. Despite the reality of such disabilities, The Heart at Play is brave and hopeful in our pursuit to let special needs persons lead purposeful lives.
Supportive Community: Parents and guardians, together with The Heart at Play's members and volunteers, are encouraged to participate every therapy sessions to foster an accepting and fun-filled environment to our special needs communities.

OUR MILESTONES
After witnessing the need to serve special needs persons from marginalized families, Teacher Ana Rivera started the Heart at Play Foundation to provide free Dance Movement Therapy to special needs persons from marganilized families.
2010
The Heart at Play had the opportunity to expand their reach internationally when Teacher Ana was invited to share the DMT program to 75 special needs adults in Edison Sheltered Workshop, New Jersey, USA.
The Heart at Play patented Dance Movement Therapy and its intervention tools.
The Heart at Play organized their first benefit concert entitled, "Specially Me".
The Heart at Play started propagating their program and advocacy in Bicol region.

2011
The first THP branch was established in Sacred Heart Parish in Quezon City and conducts free DMT sessions every Saturday afternoon.

The Heart at Play started propagating their program to SPED elementary
schools such as Batino SPED Elementary School, San Vicente Elementary School, and etc.

The Heart at Play established their second branch in St. Vianney Parish in Makati City and conducts free therapy sessions every Saturday mornings.

The Heart at Play founded "The Heart at Play Rotaract", a youth-centered volunteer group that assists THP in implementing its projects.
